Community Policy

VESPER
Community Rules

These rules exist to keep VESPER respectful, friendly, and enjoyable for everyone, in every game we play together.

Shared standards

The same rules apply across the whole community.

Voluntary activities

Nobody is required to attend every event. Agreed commitments should still be respected.

Leadership support

Questions and concerns can always go to the VESPER leadership team.

Our goal is a community built on respect, trust, teamwork, and maturity. These rules exist so everyone in VESPER can enjoy our games and each other's company in a positive, reliable environment.

Respect

Treat every member with respect, regardless of their role, skill level, game, or experience.

Friendly jokes are welcome, but know where the line is. If you are unsure whether someone will find something funny, do not say it without their confirmation. What may seem harmless to you can easily come across differently to someone else.

Harassment, bullying, discrimination, repeated disrespect, or intentionally creating drama will not be tolerated.

Communication

Communication is one of the most important parts of any community.

If you are unable to attend an event, training session, or activity you committed to, let us know beforehand whenever possible. Real life always comes first, and we completely understand that. However, disappearing without communication after committing to something makes organizing activities difficult for everyone involved.

If you have concerns, suggestions, or problems, please speak to the leadership team instead of allowing frustration to build up.

Respect the Leadership Team

Our founders, guild owners, and officers work together as one team for VESPER.

Please treat every member of leadership with the same level of respect. Decisions are rarely made by one person alone, and staff members are expected to support one another while working in the community's best interests.

If you disagree with a decision, discuss it respectfully rather than publicly arguing or creating unnecessary conflict.

Keep Drama Out

Personal conflicts should remain private whenever possible.

If an issue begins affecting the community, contact a member of leadership so we can help resolve it maturely.

Public arguments, unnecessary hostility, and attempts to divide members are not part of the environment we want to create.

Privacy

Respect the privacy of other members. Do not share someone's personal information, private messages, photos, or voice chat content without their consent.

Do not pressure anyone to share details about their identity, location, or personal life. Share only what you are comfortable sharing yourself.

Information you provide in an application is used by the leadership team to review it and is not meant for wider sharing.

Appropriate Content

Keep text, images, clips, links, and voice chat suitable for a community whose members are 15 or older.

Sexual, graphic, hateful, discriminatory, or illegal content is not allowed, and neither is content meant to shock or upset others.

Use channels and activities for their intended purpose, and be considerate of members who may be listening or reading in a shared space.

Fair Play

Play honestly and follow the rules of each game. Cheating, exploiting bugs, or using prohibited tools is not acceptable.

Respect results and agreements made for events, training sessions, and matches, and be a good sport whether you win or lose.

If you notice a bug, a problem, or unfair behavior, tell the leadership team instead of taking advantage of it.

Participation

Community activities are voluntary. We do not expect anyone to play every day or join every event. Life, work, school, and family always come first.

If you plan to take an extended break or become inactive for a while, we would appreciate a quick message so we know you are doing okay and do not mistakenly assume you have left the community.

When you agree to a training session, event, or team commitment, make every reasonable effort to attend, or tell us as early as possible if something comes up. Repeatedly committing and then not showing up without communication may affect your place in that activity or team.

Our community grows because of its members. Joining activities, helping newer players, sharing screenshots or clips, chatting with others, or simply making people feel welcome all help create the community we are aiming for.

Advertising

Do not advertise other communities, servers, channels, products, or services, and do not recruit members away from VESPER, without permission from the leadership team.

Sharing your own clips, creations, or streams in the appropriate place is welcome. Repeated or unsolicited promotion is not.

Moderation

Not every possible situation can be covered by written rules. Use common sense, treat others how you would like to be treated, and remember that we are here to enjoy our games together.

Failure to follow these rules may result in a warning, a temporary suspension from events or teams, removal from a leadership position, or removal from VESPER, depending on the severity or frequency of the issue.

Leadership decisions are made with the goal of keeping VESPER a healthy, respectful, and enjoyable community for everyone.
